Arsenal back on the Track
The Gunners Arsenal back on the Track to English Premier league after ended a run of three games without a win as they secured a 1-0 victory over The Reds Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners Arsenal improved in the second half and Abou Diaby rose to head home the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute from Tomas Rosicky's fine cross.
The Red Devils Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at Aston Villa as they saw in-form winger Nani dismissed half an hour into the game.
Villa took the lead on 19 minutes when defender Carlos Cuellar got forward to head over Edwin van der Sar but United were level shortly afterwards as Ryan Giggs' effort was deflected in by James Collins for an own goal. Nani was then dismissed after a rash challenge on Stiliyan Petrov but the hosts could not take advantage.
The Blues Chelsea saw their lead at the top of the table cut as they were beaten 2-1 at Everton.
Chelsea looked to be on course for victory when Florent Malouda rifled in on 17 minutes, but they were pegged back a quarter of an hour later when Louis Saha headed home from a corner. Petr Cech then saved a Saha penalty just before the break, but the striker made amends with a superb effort in the 74th minute.
Blackburn had to withstand some late pressure from ten-man Hull as they claimed a 1-0 win at Ewood Park.
Goalkeeper Boaz Myhill turned Martin Olsson's effort into his own net on 16 minutes and, having seen George Boateng sent off after a clash with Morten Gamst Pedersen, they were unable to force an equaliser.
Wolves upset Tottenham for the second time this season as midfielder David Jones got the only goal of the game at Molineux.
Jones completed a fine team effort as he found the corner from Matt Jarvis' cross on 27 minutes, and Spurs were unable to create clear-cut opportunities as they chased the game.
West Ham clinched a deserved 2-0 victory over Birmingham at Upton Park to ease their relegation worries.
The talk during the build-up centred on the club's owners, but Gianfranco Zola's men showed no signs of distraction as Alessandro Diamanti fired in an excellent free-kick just before the break and Carlton Cole scored a header from close range on 62 minutes.
