AS Roma came from behind on important game to secure a 2-1 win that piled the pressure on Juventus manager Ciro Ferrara and left Juve languishing five points behind them in Serie A.

"Alex" Alessandro Del Piero gave the home side the lead with a great goal in the 51st minute, but "Il Capittano" Francesco Totti equalised from the penalty spot in the 68th minute.

Juventus lost the IFFHS best goalkeeper all of time on 2 decade  Gianluigi Buffon to a red card in the 83rd minute before John Arne Riise clinched the points for Roma deep in stoppage time to take them to within two points of second-placed "Rossonerri" AC Milan and leave Juventus at risk of dropping as low as eighth this weekend.

Catania raised their hopes of avoiding relegation this season with a thoroughly deserved victory over freefalling Parma. Giuseppe Mascara had the Stadio Massimino on its feet for the first time in the 15th minute before disappointing them seven minutes later by missing a penalty.

It was not to matter though, as Jorge Martinez and Takayuki Morimoto sealed an extremely comfortable win for the Sicilians, who move to within one point of safety at the bottom of the Serie A table.
